The Grand Ambassador of Hip-Hop

Dynamax is an American international hip-hop pioneer and cultural ambassador, Originally from the South Bronx, New York, Dynamax has built a career that spans continents. While based in Paris & London after, he toured extensively throughout

 

France, Martinique, Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain, Iceland, the United Kingdom, Slovakia, Germany, Aruba, Sweden, and Japan, performing across 14 European

nations and Asia (Japan & United States of America.

 

During this period, he was employed within the French educational system as a music educator, teaching the Fundamentals of Hip-Hop Culture through programs sponsored by City Hall, Regional County authorities, and local youth and cultural boards.

 

 

 

 

Since 2006, Dynamax has served as a Hip-Hop Ambassador and Cultural Specialist for the United States Embassy (A.R.S. Division), representing the U.S.

 

 

across 13 African nations, including Angola, Nigeria, Niger, Cape Verde, Ivory Coast, Zambia, Senegal, Mauritania, Kenya, Comoros, Republic of Congo, South Africa, and Namibia. His work includes large-scale concerts for audiences exceeding 5,000 people, as well as educational workshops reaching up to 900 students at a time. While living in Leeds, UK,

 

Dynamax worked with Life Force, a youth outreach organization, mentoring students through hip-hop education and real-world music industry experience. He also delivered workshops for Bradford City Council,

 

 

Leeds Metropolitan University, and various youth programs across the UK, acting as an MC, DJ, host, educator, and cultural mentor.

 

He continues his mission of education and empowerment through workshops, emphasizing hip-hop’s original purpose: community building, cultural awareness, and youth empowerment.

 

 

Dynamax has served on academic panels at Hampton University, Thanks to M.A.L.D. Academy, alongside Linda Malone-Colon, and at Columbia University, speaking on global music careers, Africa, and the evolution of women in hip-hop. Dynamax continues not only to tell his story—but to live it.

Dynamax Joe Roberts Recieved The Silver Humanitarian award from President Biden's Administration for his selfless dedication and service for the youth in The Continent of Africa sponsored by The African Reginal Service U.S. Embassy based in Paris France, Dynamax has served under two presidential administrations President George W Bush & President Borrack Obama, Radio Legend DinahLynn Biggs wrote letters to the white house and sent in Dynamax Roberts information and the reply was the award.

     Dynamax offers various workshops on hip‐hop culture and its elements:

     

        Hip-Hop Workshop Program:

  • The Fundamentals of Hip‐Hop:  A condensed workshop including the 6 elements of Hip Hop culture:

  • DJ

  • MC

  • Beat Box

  • Dance

  • Art (Aerosol Art)

  • Knowledge; & the pioneers of the Hip-Hop culture

        -Workshop Length: 60-90 minutes

 

       Hip‐Hop’s DJ, MC’s and Beat Box:

       A practical workshop exploring:

  • The art of DJaying: mixing and tricks.

  • The art of MC’s, hosting, rap, spoken word and free styling.

  • The art of Beat-Boxing: making music with your mouth.

        -Workshop length: 60-90 minutes

 

        Hip‐Hop Culture Awareness:

  • The universal diversity of the Hip-Hop Culture

  • The importance of women in the Hip-Hop culture and society.

  • The Hip-Hop as a non-violent movement.

        -Workshop Length: 60-90 minutes

 

       The Origins of the Hip‐Hop Culture and Writers workshop:  

  • The link between Africa and African American culture

  • The true conscious message of Hip Hop vs todays Rap Music

  • How to write and structure a rap song

        -Workshop length: 60-90 minutes

 

Format:   All the workshop’s format and layouts are flexible from classroom based to seminar/theater layout and size. The practical workshop includes hands on for the pupils/students to experience the techniques of a DJ and MC.

 

Sound system: PA System, One (1) amplifier of 100 watts minimum for the workshop and another 400 watts amp for the stage, two (2) medium size speakers for the workshop and two (2) large for the stage
